Advice for Road Runners: The Mizuno Women's Neo Vista Running Shoes deliver an ultra-bouncy and protective underfoot experience. This makes them a perfect option for steady paced runs and tempo efforts.
Underfoot Feel
As mentioned, the Mizuno Neo Vista should feel very bouncy to run in. This is a result of two thick layers of nitrogen infused Mizuno Enerzy nxt foam.
There's also full-length glass-fibre infused nylon Wave Plate sandwiched between the two layers of foam. This improves energy return, but most importantly, makes the soft midsole feel very stable.
The extra broad based midsole design should also improve underfoot stability.
As your foot strikes the ground, you should feel like your foot is being rolled forward. This is because Mizuno's Smooth Speed Assist technology should improve the transition from landing to take-off.
Upper Fit
In case it's not clear from the images, the Mizuno Neo Vista Running Shoes offer a sock-like fit. The one piece soft knit upper has a fully integrated tongue and almost seamless construction. The main benefit of this design is that it should reduce the chances of friction and feel very breathable.
As the upper offers an accommodating fit, the toe box should feel spacious.
Ideal Run Type
Given how cushioned and protective the Mizuno Women's Neo Vista Running Shoes feel, they offer a lot of versatility. For example, they're likely to feel best on tempo effort runs. However, they should also feel very comfortable for long distance runs.
Even though they offer a lot of propulsion, we don't recommend using them for short and fast-paced intervals. This is because the midsole might feel too soft, and lack the responsiveness that you need.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
