Sierra graduated in 2023 with a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Tennessee after completing her Bachelor’s Degree in the same field. In graduate school, she presented her findings on the physiology of master’s cyclists and bone health in female road cyclists, mountain bikers, and runners. Sierra also works as a health data analyst for Podium Sports Medicine with EF Team Doctor Dr. Kevin Sprouse. Recently, Sierra got certified as a PMBIA Level 1 mountain bike instructor.

As a cyclist, Sierra has raced dirt to road to gravel. She has raced in the US National Championship for Marathon Mountain Biking, Cyclocross, and Pro Road. In 2019, Sierra won a National title in the Category 1 Mountain Bike National Championship for cross country a month after finishing Unbound 200. She went on to race in the USA Crits as a Category 2 road racer and raced in Europe on the USA Cycling Development Mountain Biking team. In 2024, she will be racing the BWRs and Breck Epic Stage Race.

Sierra is passionate about helping with overcoming injuries and building overall strength on the bike. Sierra enjoys applying her education and building a supportive athlete-coach relationship that pushes the athlete to be the best version of themself.
